Summer Learning Journey-Underwater…Robot?

My underwater robot was kind of built like a rocket. But the reason why its designed like a fish is so it could fit in with the other fish and not scare them away. If this robot was real, hopefully it would survive from dangerous sea creatures. I really loved this activity, it reminds me of the robot toys my little brother has. Its mostly dinosaur robot toys, Do you have any robot toys?

Estherose here! I love the way you got created with your under the sea robot making it helpful to protect all fishes in the sea. I remember when I was little I had a little robot toy that had kinds of features, like nonstop walking and an irritating noise that could go on for minutes felt like hours, but that’s all I can remember. Anyways you have done an amazing job with this activity and putting a lot of thought into your robot making it useful.

I hope you have an amazing day and a Merry, joyful Christmas with your family and friends.

Haha, my little brother also had an annoying robot that would keep making irritating sounds and never stop! But 2 hours later my little brother already broke it. This is why I never trust him with robot toys.

Although I love the design of my underwater robot, I think I should probably upgrade it or change it. The “fish” design was to fit in with the other fishes. But now that I realise that there are bigger creatures in the sea that eat other sea creatures, I should’ve made the design like a shark or maybe an orca.

Anyways, Have a good day today! And enjoy your time in this new year, 2024!

  2. Talofa Lava Madelyn,

I always said if I had a robot that lived under the sea I would design it like a sea creature so that it could fit in. Great minds think alike Madelyn. I think I would design mine to look like an apex predator, maybe an Orca? That way nothing will attack my robot. Or, I would make my robot something that could blend in, like a rock. Nobody would suspect a thing.

My favourite part about your design is the danger sensor. That would be a very helpful feature I would suspect. The thrusters at the end of the tail is pretty clever too, it will give your robot fish a bit more speed when moving through the water.

What is your robots intended purpose? To learn about the ocean, pick up rubbish or something else?

What a super blogger you are Madelyn, keep it up.
