For todays SLJ activity, I had to make a postcard based on New Zealands largest marine reserve, Hauraki Gulf! I enjoyed doing this project since it reminded me of an event that included VR that took place in my school. I decided to make my image for my postcard an orca. Why? To try something new of course. Did you know that the orca’s skin is thin? What do you know about orcas?
Kia ora Madelyn,
It’s Charlotte again, a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. Wow – you have done an excellent job on this task!
Orcas are such awesome animals! I don’t know a lot about them but I have seen one in real life before! What else do you know about the Orca?
I noticed that you mentioned Hauraki Gulf in your postcard message. Is that somewhere you want to travel to one day? If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I think I would go to the Netherlands because I would like to see where my family is from!
