Summer Learning Journey-Rebus Puzzles

Another fun and exciting Summer Learning Journey has been completed. This activity was a bit hard. I had the story in mind, but I had trouble finding the right emojies. I do not know if the emojies I used make sense with the story but maybe on the “Step it up” challenge I can try better!

And one fun fact before I go, did you know the story I used is actually from a video game? Can you guess which video game this story belongs to? Anyways I’ll start on the next challenge now.

  1. Tēnā koe Madelyn,

I love these rebus activities as I find the rebus riddles so fun, this term we did a rebus riddle every morning before roll call as a daily riddle! This one is even better as it uses both rebus riddles and literacy skills as you write your story.

I think your story was very cool. I love science fiction space stories, my favourite is The Martian. You did an awesome job selecting emojis that clearly translate to the word they mean. A cool step up may be challenging yourself to use two emojis to make one word.

I would like to know what emojis you would use to write your name??

It is great to see you participating in the summer learning journey again this year and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome posts, keep up the great work!

I had trouble finding the right emoji that fits the word but I eventually got it. And To answer your question, I think the suitable emoji I would use to write my name would be “😡”. Since the word “Mad” is in my name.

Have a wonderful day today! And have a fantastic Christmas too!
