Summer Learning Journey-Where’s Wally?

I remember when I was 8 or 7 years old. Whenever it was reading time, my teacher would always have this box full of “Where’s Wally?”. Everyone in my class absolutely LOVED them so much! In fact, I remember one time most of the class worked together and tried to find Wally until it was lunch time. I also remember that whenever reading the “Where’s Wally” books, I would constantly choose the same one and finish it.

I really hope they continue the “Where’s Wally” books in the future. I’ll be very upset if they stopped.

Whats your favourite “Where’s Wally?” book? And why is that?

  1. Mōrena Madelyn,

What an awesome kick start activity, I love the Where’s Wally books and how exciting it is to be able to create your own version with YOU as Wally!! I thought it was really great that you completed all the different slides, a really good challenge for yourself. Have you read the Where’s Wally books before? I think the I Spy ones were my favourite as I liked being able to look for different objects.

It took me a while but I managed to successfully find you on every page, a really good idea making your character small and hidden. Your second slide was definitely the hardest!

It is great to see you participating in the summer learning journey again this year and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome posts, keep up the great work!

I haven’t really read all of the “Where’s Wally” books, but I have read some and it was very fun to read. I think I’ve heard of the “I Spy” ones but I don’t remember reading them. Fun fact! I tried making slide 3 the hardest but I guess slide 2 is actually the most difficult.

Thank you for commenting on my work, have a good day today and a jolly good christmas too!

your friend Jamie here! You did a great job hiding yourself, but I thought slide 2 was hilarious, because it looks like you are flying behind other people. The girl sliding was really funny too. Have you checked out my Where’s Wally slides? I bet you can’t find me! Here’s the link to my blog post: https://spsjamieb.edublogs.org/2023/12/15/wheres-jamie/

Your third slide was definitely the hardest, and your head just popping out was really amusing too. Have a great day Maddy, and a Merry Christmas with your family and your friends!!

Hello my friend, fun fact! On slide 2 the pose she’s in was actually inspired by those funny roblox horror games. But as for the sliding kid, I just added that for fun. Yes, I did check out your “Where’s Wally” I commented on your one.

Have a wonderful school holiday and have a jolly good Christmas too!
