Summer Learning Journey-Rainbows in the Summer

Out of the Summer Styles that was shown in the video, This one caught my eye. Mostly because of the rainbow. I decided to change the plants’ shape and just turn them into circles to make them look like peas or beans. As for the background I just added 4 different types of blue gradiant colours.

I really your artwork of a rainbow and the ocean. I like how you made the waves different colours and textures! I think I will do the kick start one but with textures. Keep up the great work Maddy

Thank you so much for commenting on my work, I really appreciate it. The waves were the hardest for me to design and colour but it was worth it. But my favourite piece is the sand, I don’t really know why but I guess its my favourite now.

Anyways, Have a great and fantastic school holidays!

You have done an outstanding job with your artwork as well as the multiple colours you have added in. I like the way you have added different kinds of lines and shapes for your artwork. You have put a lot of hard work and effort into this activity, Ka pai!. Have a wonderful day and a Merry Christmas!

  3. Mōrena Madelyn,

What an awesome step it up activity for what was already an awesome art activity to begin with!! I love this activity as well because I get to see different versions of the same piece of art everyone creates. It is an awesome opportunity to see everyone’s personality and style shine through as they create their own versions of a similar landscape.

I really like your use of blues for the ocean, it really adds depth to the art and your beautiful rainbow. This actually looks similar to some of the beaches up in the Far North where I am from, not like the ones near where I am now! Do you have many beaches around you?

It is great to see you participating in the summer learning journey again this year and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome posts, keep up the great work!

Thank you for commenting on my work, I really appreciate it. I must say, before colouring the ocean I had to decide what I should do. It was very difficult for me but then I came up with a plan. So yes, I am very proud of my ocean.

And to answer your question, I think there are? Sorry I don’t really know that much about where I am from.

Have a wonderful and fantastic holiday!
