Beatrix Potter was born on the July 28th 1866, in South Kensington, Middlesex and she died in 1943. At the age of 27 Beatrix Potter published the Peter Rabbit book and it was the first children’s book did you know that if it wasn’t for Canon Rawnsley Peter Rabbit may have never been created, she also wrote The Tale of the Squirrel Nutkin, The Tale of Tom Kitten and other books.
