For the step it up version, instead of an image for my postcard I had to do an animation! This time, I chose a dolphin. Reason number 1 being I wanted to do something different again and reason number 2 is the fact that they’re known to be very friendly towards humans. As a kid I’ve always wanted to play with a dolphin, if not achieveable then at least touch it. What do you dream of doing with a dolphin or any sea creature?
SLJ-Postcard from Under the Sea
For todays SLJ activity, I had to make a postcard based on New Zealands largest marine reserve, Hauraki Gulf! I enjoyed doing this project since it reminded me of an event that included VR that took place in my school. I decided to make my image for my postcard an orca. Why? To try something new of course. Did you know that the orca’s skin is thin? What do you know about orcas?

For the step it up version, instead of doing it on google drawing I used canva! I found this activitiy easy, but using canva was the hard part for me since I was new to it. If you could be any of the Marine Big 5 animals, which one would you be? Why? Are you playful like the Cape Fur Seal or smart like the bottlenose Dolphin? I would love to be the Great white shark! Due to its fierceness.

New week and new SLJ activity. For todays project I had to choose one of Africas Marine Big 5 sea animals and I decided to choose the African penguin. I chose this animal because it reminded me of one of my favourite movies! And how I would feel while swimming with this animal is excitement for sure!
